More prominent though not invasive wood frames much spicier aromas of cassis, poached plum, black cherry, jasmine tea and a pretty array of floral elements, especially violet. The relatively generous medium weight flavors are at once succulent yet serious with an abundance of sappy dry extract that does a good job of buffering the very firm but not rigid tannic spine shaping the balanced, youthfully austere and lengthy finish. This markedly powerful effort also needs to add depth, but it appears to be very promising provided it is allowed to age properly.
